Reference Books for Shodo Students
(Note: "CAUTION", These books are published using a "coiled" binding (intending to allow the book to lay "flat"). That "coil" is made of plastic (I have no control/option in that subject). This can allow the "coil" to melt if/when exposed to excessive sunlight/heat.

This is a reference book to guide the reader in in the selection of kanji to utilize for a "Name Seal" using Japanese (Tensho style) kanji. These are commonly used on Martial Arts Rank certificates and/or personal Calligraphy projects/art work etc. This book is intended to be utilized in conjunction with a copy of the New Nelson's Kanji Dictionary. Though one is able to use it with a different Japanese/English dictionary, it will prove to be more awkward. It is also intended to be used with it's accompanying text "Tensho Examples of Japanese Kanji" (by the same author). This is Book 1 of a 2 volume set.
